1-Step Transition for vonRoll Infratec AG
vonRoll Infratec AG is a Swiss company that manufactures cast materials, hydrants and electric vehicles, among other things.
In the course of the takeover of the Duktus group of companies, there were several challenges to be solved at the same time - starting with the integration of an SAP system through to the transfer of company codes.
GAMBIT carried out the integration and migration very quickly in only one step and not in six steps as usual - always in close cooperation with the stakeholders of vonRoll Infratec AG.
The 1-Step Transition saved vonRoll Infratec money and time, which proves once again: Working with GAMBIT simply pays off for companies.
After the acquisition of the Duktus group of companies, vonRoll infratec AG had to integrate parts of the new subsidiary's SAP system into its own SAP landscape. With the help of GAMBIT Consulting this was achieved in just one transformation step. In this way, vonRoll infratec saved above all time and money.
The integration of the IT of a purchased company into the own IT systems can sometimes be very costly. After the acquisition of the Duktus group of companies, the Swiss vonRoll infratec AG was also faced with a challenge of this kind: it had to integrate parts of the Duktus group of companies' SAP system into its own SAP landscape.
With the support of Gambit, a 1-step transition succeeded. In one pass instead of six individual steps (Six-in-One transformation), GAMBIT integrated Duktus's classic general ledger into the new general ledger of the SAP system of vonRoll infratec AG, transferred selected company codes and harmonized charts of accounts. The carve-in mainly involved the SAP modules for finance, controlling and logistics.
In the course of the 1-step transition, all conversions were carried out at once. The two SAP ERP 6.0 company codes of the new subsidiary to be transferred could thus be transferred to the new SAP ERP 6.0 at the go-live date. In addition, GAMBIT was able to integrate the FI module into the new general ledger.
Due to the 1-step approach vonRoll infratec bypassed several staggered go-live scenarios and saved considerable time and costs. With the support of GAMBIT, it was possible to remove from the two company codes to be transferred only exactly the three plants that were to be taken over. In addition, the previous six sales organizations were consolidated into only one in the new SAP.
